Not that long ago, the most any bank did to curry customer confidence was slap the word “Trust” on their names.

After the pandemic, whipsawing interest rates and the failure of giants fixtures like Silicon Valley Bank, these institutions are discovering that trust is the most important factor (after great rates, perhaps) they can, well, bank on.

Forbes’ World’s Best Banks 2023 reflects this and other industry trends. Compiled in partnership with market research firm Statista, the list is based on a worldwide survey of 48,000 banking customers in 32 countries.

The 415 banks who earned a spot on our ranking were evaluated in categories such as digital services, customer services, financial advice and, of course, trust.

순위에 오른 415개 은행은 디지털 서비스, 고객 서비스, 금융 자문, 신뢰와 같은 범주에서 평가되었습니다.

Online banks are at the top in many countries, reflecting the pandemic’s impact on customers’ digital comfort. Banerjee says that over the past two years, banks rapidly adopted new digital technology that made customers’ experiences more robust, swift and personal—all necessary to appeal to Millennial and Gen Z customers.

온라인 은행은 팬데믹이 고객의 디지털 편안함에 미치는 영향을 반영하여 많은 국가에서 최고의 위치에 있습니다.  Banerjee는 지난 2년 동안 은행들이 밀레니얼 세대와 Z세대 고객에게 어필하는 데 필요한 고객 경험을 보다 강력하고 신속하며 개인적으로 만드는 새로운 디지털 기술을 빠르게 채택했다고 말합니다.

1위는 토스은행이 차지했습니다.  2위는 2022년의 1위 카카오뱅크가 한계단 내려왔습니다.
